Day 7

We are up early and loading the car to head home. Fog is thick on the mountain. WE stop in Franklin for gas and breakfast. Going through Atlanta is snot so bad. We stop right after that to get a snack. Mother is coming to Joyce's to pick me up. We are both tired. When I got to mother's Zoie came to meet me at the car. Good to see everyone. Thank you Joyce for inviting me to go and for showing me a good time. I love you.

Day 6

It is a smokey morning on the mountains. You can hardly see out at all. Don't know how long it will stay like this. I slept in late today. Nothing pending so why not. I am having my coffee and breakfast. Afterward i got a shower and washed my hair. We spend the morning doing whatever we like. About mid afternoon we ride to the lazy Rooster for ice cream and on to Ingell's to get some meat for grilling. I am living dangerously getting peach ice cream while Joyce got strawberry. We cooked our meat that night and ate out on the porch. Now we are enjoying the coolness of the night. Today was another rainbow over the mountain. There is suppose to be a full moon tonight if it clears up. It seems that our week has gone by so fast. I have had lots of fun. kinda hate to leave. It has been so relaxing. I am ready to see everyone, espically my Zoie. So glad I got to come up for the week. Hopefully I can go back before school starts.

Day 5

As usual I have my morning coffee on the porch. Another good day ahead. Our time is winding down. It will soon be time to head back to Alabama. We spent most of the day in Waynesville. Lots of neat shops there. Had lunch at Nick and Nate's. Had the pizza buffet. On the way up we stopped in Dillsboro for some ice cream and to look around. Before coming back to the cabin we ride through Maggie Valley. I had never been before. It rained while we were there. I am glad it has been cool enough to be out. Tomorrow will probably be a lazy day since we are leaving Sunday to head home. It is starting to come up a cloud and we go inside. I am going to chill in my room while Joyce watches TV.

Day 4

The weather is beautiful this morning as I sit out and drink my coffee. later we are going to Waynesville. and maybe FRanklin. We had a nice outing in Franklin at the Whistlestop malll. On the way back we stopped for ice cream. Tonight I sit on the porch eating and drinking a margarita. What a life. I am getting ready to see more fireflies tonight. Tomorrow we will head to Waynesville for some shopping.

Day 3

Today we are going to Franklin and have breakfast at McDonlad's. Then we will check out the bookstore. After that it is on to Kmart and then back home to get ready for the casino. Tonight we will grill out and sit around. The weather is so nice. I am enjoying it all. Took in the casino with no luck but had fun anyway. Now we are on the porch enjoying the view, relaxing. We grilled salmon tonight and ate on the porch. Such a nice view. Now we are just chilling. I love being in the rocker. The moon is looking so good. maybe we will see more fireflies tonight.

Day 2

We woke up to a beautiful morning. Birds are flying everywhere. I head out on the porch to drink my coffee. It is so peaceful and cool. I do enjoy it up here. WE can do just whatever we want. later today we are going to Cherokee to Harrah's. This will be fun. I like going there. Made some birds pictures and videos today. I love my picture taking. A change of plans and we are going to the Highlands instead. There is a big waterfall there. Riding with the top down is so nice. When we get there it starts to rain and we waited it out. Still too wet to go to the falls. It was a beautiful drive anyway. We stopped at Wendy's and had a snack. Now we are back at the cabin and I am having coffee on the porch. It is so nice and cool out here. Friday we may go over the mountain. Tomorrow Waynesville or Franklin.

Day 1

Monday morning and Joyce and me set out for the cabin. We arrived at the cabin early afternoon. Everything looks so nice. Since we had ridden all day we decided to hang out at home. Later we made drinks and listened to music. Around 5 or so it came a thunderstorm an ran us in the house. We saw lots of fireflies tonight. This is going to be a fun time. Tomorrow we are going to Cherokee to the casino with Doug. I always enjoy this. Not sure what else we will do. making lots of pictures. I am really tired and ready for bed. A new and fresh start in the morning. Goodnight!!
